Team Shosholoza, led by Italian Paulo Chian was the victor in the Brasil Cup, the first round of the 2008 World Match Racing Tour. The South African Americas Cup outfit beat reigning world champion, Brit Ian Williams, in the semi and Swedens Bjorn Hansen in the best of 5 race final. Another Brit, the RYA Keelboat Squads Tudur Owen, was part of the 5th place Mirsky Racing Team of Torvar Mirsky. Full results here
